Stripped peacock quill

Every fly tier tried to strip peacock quills in his own “top secret” way: eraser, fingers, wax, bleach. Tell me frankly – how many quills did you clean before getting mad?

Well, this era is over now - we will supply you with ready to use peacock eye quills in lovely colours!

This body material is used to create fantastic natural segmentation of flies tied on hooks from 12-22 – dries, nymphs, spiders and buzzers.
The quill comes from peacock eyes and is hand stripped, which eliminates the problems of cracking if bleached or chemically stripped.
Using finest natural paints we dye them into 16 different colours – a very useful range that will be appreciated by any flytier:

Natural; Olive; Golden Olive; Orange; Yellow; Red; Pink; Brown; Crimson; Ginger, Fluo Yellow, Green, Soft Pink, Forest Green, Turquoise and Blue.

Packs contain at least 25 pieces of quill, which should produce at least 25 flies, when tying small ones, might actually be the double.

Also, because of natural variation in the raw feathers, the final colours may not be identical between batches, though we try to keep them very close.
